It's that time of year again where we start reminding brides about when is the best time to start wedding dress shopping. We know that we have answered this question before- but that is because it is one of the most commonly searched questions on google and in real-time from brides who are newly engaged! It makes sense; who wants to be more stressed than would already be expected during wedding planning- and not knowing when you should dress shop can create a lot of stress.

Did you know that you should be shopping for your wedding dress at least a year out from your wedding? This is for multiple reasons such as practicality; depending on the designer, gowns can take anywhere from 5-8 months to come in and the timeline for varying seamstress specialists can take anywhere from 1-3 months!

You also don't want to create unnecessary pressure on what is already such a big decision for such an important day. Shopping at least a year out allows you the most options possible without the added pressure or limitations of certain timeline restrictions
